Weight Loss More Veggies, Less Wedgies!

We love the idea of more veggies and less wedgies for our clients as well as reliable diet plans. At Lean28 Diet Drops we realize that we live in an age when pizza gets to your home before the police, which makes fast foods not only a tasty option but a tempting time saver. Despite being convenient, fast foods aren’t nutrient rich and rarely resemble anything remotely like a fruit or vegetable. So here is some helpful information to inspire you to go greens (and other brilliant colors of health).

Actor Jim Davis advised all to avoid fruits and nuts because you are what you eat.  We think being fruity ain’t such a bad thing—in fact, we’re nuts about the idea! If you get your daily dose of the good stuff, you’ll look and feel better.  We promise.

A more-than-frequently asked question is what constitutes a fruit or vegetable serving as directed on your meal protocol?  What counts as a cup? One cup refers to a common measuring cup—the kind you use in recipes.  According to The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 1 cup of raw or cooked vegetables or 100% vegetable juice, or 2 cups of raw leafy greens can be considered 1 cup from the vegetable group. One cup of fruit or 100% fruit juice, or ½ cup of dried fruit can be considered 1 cup from the fruit group.  For example, 6 baby carrots or 16 grapes would be the equivalent of a ½ cup serving.  1 cup of lettuce counts as a ½ cup of vegetables.  One small apple is equal to 1 cup of fruit.

Of course, vegetables should be a must in everyone’s diet. (And we don’t mean carrot cake, zucchini bread, and pumpkin pie!)  So be sure to eat according to our meal plan wherein you have 6 combined servings of fruits and vegetables each day.  This isn’t the cardiologist’s diet we’re recommending—if it tastes good, spit it out. No, we think you’ll find these plants’ delicious goodness will grow on you. Besides, then you’re into the veg and out of the wedge!

Potent Postscript:

Jon Foster Dulles, secretary of state for the Eisenhower administration, observed, "The measure of success is not whether you have a tough problem to deal with, but whether it is the same problem you had last year."  The key is to focus on what you are learning, not on what you are sacrificing.  Lean28 diet drops helps you focus on what counts most, your health.  We are here for you today, tomorrow, and always so you can set, work for, and attain your weight loss goals.
